We have a fully equipped dive equipment service centre and dive cylinder testing facility on site.  This enables us to provide you with a high level of customer service and quick turn around times when you want you gear serviced or your cylinders tested. 

Equipment Servicing

We are certified to service most major brands of dive equipment on sight.  If your equipment is one of the few brands that we can not service we have relationships in place with the right professionals to enable us to arrange it for you.  This means we are able to provide you with a one-stop shop when it comes to having your dive gear serviced.

Why have your gear serviced?  Because your life depends on it...it can also spoil a great day (or holiday) if your equipment lets you down when you are at the dive site.  Pretty much all manufacturers of dive equipment specify that your equipment should be serviced annually as a minimum.  In a lot of cases this is also a condition to maintain the warranty.

Cylinder Testing

Dive HQ Westhaven is a certified New Zealand Underwater Cylinder Testing Station operating under the Scuba Cylinder Audit Program (SCAP).  We carry out both Hydrostatic tests and Visual inspections.  Dive cylinders are tested on site, which means we can get them done in a good time frame for you.

All dive cylinders must be inspected annually.  A Hydrostatic test is valid for 2 years but they still have to be visually inspected every 12 months.  Remember if your cylinder is out-of-test it can not be filled.

Note: Don't leave having your gear serviced or cylinders inspected until the last minute.  Although we endeavour to provide a prompt service, when it comes to peak times such as Christmas and long weekends we get a huge amount of work that people want now!!!  Avoid disappointment and get in early.
