Dive HQ Albany – NOW OPEN

We are very pleased to announce that we have opened a new dive shop in Albany at 121 Rosedale Road:

Complete with a full retail space, classroom, gear servicing workshop, air/nitrox filling station and equipment rental. Easy access off the northern motorway at the Greville Rd exit...drop by and check out New Zealands newest dive center.

Dive HQ Albany is opened in partnership with Dive HQ Hibiscus Coast, Dive HQ Westhaven and Dive HQ Central to complete a chain of 4 dive shops all working in unison as your local dive shop throughout Auckland. By combining stores we now have a greater selection of course and trip dates. With increased purchasing power we can now offer a greater range of equipment at very sharp prices. Air fill cards and Gift certificates are accepted through all stores.

Xmas Club Night – Wednesday 7 December
Come down and join a group of enthusiastic divers from all over Auckland for our first club night in Albany to celebrate the opening of our new store with a few Xmas drinks! Everyone is welcome after work from 6pm for oven Pizza, BBQ and drinks.

Consider a Career in Diving !
We are now taking applications of interest for our full time tertiary courses, starting early 2012.

We have an audited and approved delivery site for Academy of Diving Trust in Auckland. The Academy of Diving Trust is registered as a Private Training Establishment by the NZQA pursuant to the Education Amendment Act 1990. We offer a range of part-time & full time career qualifications at our Auckland based delivery site. Our tertiary programs are Student Loan approved for NZ citizens and persons who hold current NZ permanent residency for a minimum of 2 years.

Nitrox Course
We still have spaces for the PADI Nitrox course in Albany on the 22 November. One evening of theory is all it takes before you can start using nitrox to dive longer and safer. Whats more...you do not need any special equipment and we will fill your dive tanks with nitrox for the same price as air. We are the only dive centers in NZ to offer NITROX FOR FREE !!

Mid Week Trips
Our mid week trips are starting a little later to allow divers from throughout Auckland to make it up to the coast. A leisurely 10am start will get you out for a couple of dives and back by early afternoon !

Waikato Wreck and The Poor Knights
We are doing a trip to dive the Waikato Wreck on Saturday 26 Nov, followed by a charter to the Poor Knights on Sunday 27 November and there is only one space left – be in quick to grab it. Otherwise, join us on a return trip for the weekend of 14/15 January in the New Year.

Great Barrier Island
We have slipped in a charter to Great Barrier Island on Sunday 18th December. Leaving from Leigh for a 2 dive day. Grab a cray for Xmas! Cost $150/person including complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sausage sizzle snack.

Poor Knights Liveaboard
We are heading to the Poor Knights in the New Year for a 3 day liveaboard trip on the Pacific Hideaway from Friday 3 February – Monday 6 February. The price is yet to be confirmed. Contact us for more information and to secure your place.

White Island Liveaboard
After cancelling 2 liveaboard trips to White Island earlier this year due to bad weather, we are trying again in 2012. We have secured dates from Friday 9 March – Sunday 11 March. This trip is sure to fill fast so contact us for more information and to secure your place.

Gear Servicing
Summer holidays are approaching quickly. Now is the time to get your regulators and cylinders in for their annual service to avoid delays at the last minute...our workshops are already very busy !
